Want to work in the Kindergarten?

Ms. True is looking for a responsible student to take on the role of "Kindergarten Patrol Leader" every morning, before school (8:15 - 8:30am). (That amounts to a lovely 1.25 hours per week of Community and Service! After Trimester 2, you'll already have close on 15 hours clocked with this one activity!)

You will be required to ensure that the kindergarten children are safe, playing together well and generally settled for the start of their day.

This position is open to Grade 8 - 10 students only.

Any interested students must apply online.

Do you love reading?

Cedar International School has just forged a new relationship with the B.V.I Red Cross.

To start us off, the Red Cross is looking for four volunteers to assist in their newly-launched after school reading programme. This programme will begin on Tuesday, 1 February 2011 at their offices in Road Town. Volunteers will be required to read to younger students from the territory, many of whom come to simply enjoy stories and get help with their reading.

We are looking for volunteers to read on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30 - 4:30 each day. You may volunteer for any day/s you wish.

Students interested in this service opportunity must apply online BEFORE FRIDAY, 28 JANUARY 2011.
