Love the environment?

Want to get "hands-on" at a fun event during our Spring Break?

Green V.I, a local organisation whose aim is to promote a cleaner, greener Virgin Islands, is hosting a fun day on this day at the Green V.I Glass Studio (*behind Myett's, Cane Garden Bay).

What's this opportunity all about?
The organisers are looking for ten students to help in the following ways:

5 students:
Playing games with the children at the event - These games will include crab races, sand castle building, sack races, Easter egg hunts and a lucky-dip tent.

2 students (Grades 8, 9 and 10 only):
To help run the recycled art competition being held for children from around the island - This will involve you helping others to create pieces of artwork from recycled materials, and possibly judging the overall winners!

3 students:
Help with the set-up - This role would involve you working closely with the organisers and helping to set up the different stalls at the event including a glass-blowing studio, a face painting stand and the various games.

What time should we meet?
Students will meet Ms. Oliver at the glass studio at 10:00am on this day. The events will run until around 8:00pm, however, you may leave when you wish to.

Students may apply online (the best positions will be given to those who do!)

Alternatively, if you decide to help on the day, you may simply arrive at the studio. Please ensure that you take along your reflection form to be signed!
